Session Eight: Sleeping Beauties with TWO MODELS, November 21, 2021

Lush, languid, lazy. Nothing like a peaceful afternoon nap.

For the first time, we are overjoyed to welcome a second model to the Atelier. Beloved Bay Area art model Prudence Poliva will be joining Leigh in, two figures creating an unlimited dreamscape of shapes and forms inspired by that most peaceful of activities, sleeping.

Join us for a mid-day Sunday sleepover. Tickets are $30 and on sale now.

Session Seven: Avian Transformation, October 21, 2021

Thursday, October 21, Leigh dazzled us with some warm-up gestures then transformed from human to an altogether different form for a series 20- and 40-minute poses, along with the always top-notch visual work of Will and special guest makeup artists Roxanne Graves. Purchase reference photos from this intense day-to-night session and be inspired along with the artists lucky enough to join us!

Session Six, Abstract Figurative, September 5, 2021

On Sunday September 5 Leigh and Will teamed up against long odds to bring you an afternoon of abstract figurative work. 4 scenes of 3 poses each, creative camera angles and lighting provided inspiration to artists truly spanning the globe.

Session Five, Judith & Holofernes, August 12, 2021

Leigh and Will pulled out all the stops to maximize drama and storytelling, presenting four poses recreating depictions of this extremely popular story of Judith striking a blow to defend her homeland against invading general Holofernes.

Session Four, Ballet, July 14, 2021

We celebrated Bastille Day with a return to Leigh’s roots as a dancer, following our ballerina through her day from rehearsal studio, to rehearsal and performance on stage to a dramatic performance and portrait taking her bows. A total of 59 dynamic poses, if you missed this one, we highly recommend the reference photo pack, 118 photos for $30.

Session Three, Art Nouveau, June 12, 2021

Our third session brought a single long pose along with a portrait view on the second camera, in an elaborate and detailed set inspired by the Art Nouveau posters of Alphonse Mucha. Leigh’s grace and elegance inspired some incredible creations from this session.

Session Two, The Yellow Wallpaper, May 25, 2021

Our second session brought powerful interpretations of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s short story The Yellow Wallpaper with 3 long poses and some moving work by all our member artists.

Session One, May 5, 2021

We officially opened the doors of the Atelier to artists on Cinco de Mayo with a range of costumed and nude poses in varying settings to flex our (and our member artists’) creative muscles right out of the gate!

Soft Open, April 14, 2021

A select group of invited artists from around the world joined us for a mid-day session and created some amazing work, as we refined our presentations. See reference photos and work here.
